2017 Christmas Haul

Updated: Jun 7, 2021

Hello, my technicolored friends! I am back again with another haul post, a very late one, actually! Wherever you may be, be it in snow-covered Europe or tropical paradise Philippines, Christmas is usually the happiest time of the year all over the world. As for me, apart from being the happiest time of the year, it's also the busiest, because we church kiddos are preparing for most significant activity of the year (Diocesan Youth Day)! It was only after Christmas and this event that I was able to find and spend some time with myself and look around town, though the Christmas bustle didn't end until New Year's Eve.

You know what they say, as people grow older, their wants change. I remember writing long and elaborate wish lists on my old blog, and most of them already came true. I can say now that I don't really want much, I just a few things to complete my year. And what exactly completed my year? Let's find out. ✨✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✨

For the longest time, I have been obsessed with this mermaid make-up brush set. I remember pining for it every time I’m at Victory Mall. I'm no make-up guru, of course, but you know how a certain item can up your game-play? That's how I feel when I'm using the brushes. I feel absolutely fab. To make things even better, my ✨ kawaii as hecc ✨ friend Kim (Melody Elrise) gifted me with a matching mermaid... thick contour brush! (Not included in the picture. ಥ_ಥ ) It was a kawaii Christmas, indeed.

Ever since the moon necklace hit the PH, almost every girl wanted one. I'm no exception.

When I was a teenager, I disliked dangling earrings. I remember my mother making me wear all these ridiculously colorful dangling bead earrings. I mean, I still disliked them, at least until last year. When I got my ears pierced last 2016, I loaded up on stud earrings, but 2017 made me develop a newfound liking for dangling earrings. One of the church kiddos from Binangonan whom I became close with, Jonel, always wore pretty dangling earrings on our meetings, as well as on the event, so I can say that she was quite an influence. When I saw that Victory Mall had this booth full of various kinds of earrings: studs, dangling earrings, tassel earrings, I bought myself these pearl droplet and diamond droplet earrings, and a pair of dark blue tassel earrings.

Somehow my want for cute and sweet accessories evolved into a preference for classy and elegant trinkets, so I can say that I'm pretty serious with this adulting business.

I hope that you buy yourself some pretty things once in a while. Don't ever feel guilty about spending on yourself (Just not too much that you'll end up broke lol). ♡ See you in my next haul post!
